Windward Books
Windward Books was a division of Random House that published paperback editions of various children and juvenile Random House titles in the 1970's. Each Windward book was part of an overall Windward series and each had a number printed on its spine. The Secret of Terror Castle was number 20 and The Mystery of the Stuttering Parrot was number 23. Also included in the Windward series were the excellent "selected anthologies" by Robert Arthur: Mystery and More Mystery, Ghosts and More Ghosts and Spies and More Spies, etc. Most of the Windward titles had new cover art with a reflective silver background (and were therefore known as the Windward Silverback Edition), although both Three Investigators books were also available with a white background.
